Well, this is my first image for illustration friday. Unfortunately I didn't get it quick enough, I'm going to say my non-illustration job got in the way as my excuse.

Anyway, the topic was rescue, and I took this project as a way to experiment with technique of using an initial light inking and washes follow by watercolor washes and line work. After couple layer of watercolor and ink I finished of the piece with some color pencil to clean up my edges.
